THE REVIEW

The Review, first published in 1988, is the Association’s quarterly journal, a quality publication in A5 format running to more than 70 pages.

It includes items of varying length, often illustrated and mostly written by members who will usually have produced their articles only after in-depth research, making The Review a source of much original and previously unpublished material.

Then there is the regular series of Museum Spotlights, each of which focuses on a different museum that may attract those on holiday in the area. Other regular features include the letters pages, book reviews and a round-up of news of interest to members.

The Lord Lewin Prize is awarded annually for the three articles that, in the opinion of the management committee, are the most deserving of recognition.

 The cost of producing The Review is supported by advertisers, all of whom will be of interest to readers involved in naval research and the collecting of maritime memorabilia.
