The Review,
first published in 1988, is the Association’s quarterly journal, a quality
publication in A5 format running to more than 70 pages.
It includes items of varying length, often illustrated and mostly
written by members who will usually have produced their articles only
after in-depth research, making The
Review a source of much original and previously unpublished
material.
Then there is the regular series of Museum Spotlights, each of which
focuses on a different museum that may attract those on holiday in the
area. Other regular features include the letters pages, book reviews and a
round-up of news of interest to members.
The
Lord Lewin Prize is awarded annually for the three
articles that, in the opinion of the management committee, are the most
deserving of recognition.
The cost of producing The Review
is supported by advertisers, all of whom will be of interest to readers
involved in naval research and the collecting of maritime memorabilia.
Issues in recent years have
included the following, which provide only a taste of the wealth of
material contained in our back numbers. To order back issues please
